Elizabethton Covered Bridge Days, Sep 24-26, 2021
Last year the event was canceled, and this year it was moved on to fall to allow need repairs on the bridge. It’s the largest annual event, gathering hundreds of people. The bridge was built in 1882 and spans 134 feet across the Doe River.
Enjoy live music concerts, visit the arts and crafts vendors and just have fun!
Several shops and restaurants are a short walk away.

Friday September 24, 2021
| 3-7 PM | Inflatables at Edward’s Island Park Children will enjoy free inflatables! Located on the green space at Edward’s Island |
| 3-3:45 PM | Interactive Storybook with the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library Join us at Rotary Pavilion at Edward’s Island. Children will get to meet with characters of storybooks while listening as the pages come alive. The Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library will have books to give to those in attendance. |
| 4-7 PM | Foam Party at Edward’s Island Cool off and have fun during our Foam Party located beside Rotary Pavilion! Please be aware this activity is a water activity and clothes/shoes may get wet. |
| 4-5 PM | Magic Show Join us for a special magic show at Rotary Pavilion. |
| 5:30-6:30 PM | Magic Show An encore performance will take place by our Magician at Rotary Pavilion |

| 1-4 PM | Elizabethton Children’s Business Fair- located in Covered Bridge Park Shop local entrepreneurs from ages 7-18 open for a single day shopping event. There will be a special awards ceremony presented afterwards recognizing businesses who have excelled in design, marketing, and creativity! |
